Property Description

Online Only Auction selling Absolute, regardless of price! Auction ends at 6PM 10-15-2025. Visit www.fraiseauction.com for terms and to register to bid. Historic charm meets country living – selling absolute to the highest bidder! Rich with history and original character, this 2,254 sq. ft. 2-story brick home on 2± acres showcases original doors and wood trim, hardwood floors, pocket doors, built-in china cupboards, and tall ceilings. The home offers 4–5 bedrooms and a main-floor laundry, with key updates including a new furnace, a metal roof, many vinyl replacement windows, and tuck-pointing completed in the early 2000s. Overlooking the scenic Green Bay Bottoms valley, it presents a rare opportunity for a buyer to own a true piece of history and bring their vision to life by updating the interior while preserving its timeless craftsmanship. Adding to the property’s appeal is a well-built 45’ x 65’ machine shed, offering excellent space for equipment, vehicles, or hobbies, and the home is also connected to high-speed fiber internet. Located on a hard-surfaced road with easy access to both Burlington and Fort Madison, this is a scarce chance for historic home enthusiasts and acreage buyers alike. Online Only Auction! List price is assessed value and has no bearing on the final sale price.
